📜 Celtic Press History
Celtic Press traces its roots to the work of Restoration Ministries, which was active since the 1980s distributing the works of E. Raymond Capt and other noted scholars. In 2000, Dr. Stephen M. B. Knott was appointed Editor of the Ministry Newsletter, and by 2003, he became manager of the Celts' Roots Bookshop, a publishing and outreach initiative originally founded by Dr. Warren Johnson.
We owe a debt of gratitude to Dr. Johnson and E. Raymond Capt, M.A., A.I.A., F.S.A. (Scot.), Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland, whose guidance, scholarship, and vision were instrumental in our early years.
Since those beginnings, Celtic Press has continued to serve at festivals and events, offering books, media, and cultural materials that preserve and celebrate the living legacy of Celtic heritage.
