"Scotland's most precious possession," is what many call the letter from King Robert the Bruce of Scotland to Pope John the 22nd. This letter is known today as the Declaration of Arbroath, or the Scottish Declaration of Independence. It alluded to the orgin of the Scots from the so-called "Lost Tribes of Israel".
